Motivational Speaker Visits Lyford CISD


MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER VISITS LYFORD CISD - Lyford CISD staff was honored with a breakfast and welcomed to the new school year by Lyford Superintendent Eduardo Infante, Board President Cruz Salinas, and Board Member Marina Quilantan-Rivera. New staff from each campus were introduced and recognized by their respective principals. The Superintendent's message centered around the accomplishments of the previous year, the challenges of the new school year, and what beliefs the group had about educating children and having successful schools. Pictured, from left to right, are Administrator for Curriculum and Instruction/Migrant Irma Mondragon, Guest Speaker Dr. Calvin Mackie, and Superintendent Eduardo Infante. Dr. Mackie was also on hand to sign his book "A View from the Roof: Lessons for Life and Business."
