Mr. & Mrs. Garza united in marriage
      Tony and Margarita Garza were married August 11, 2007 at Our Lady of Guadalupe. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hector Anguiano. The groom is the son of Antonio L. Garza and Diana Rodriugez. After their honeymoon trip to Riveria Maya, Mexico, the couple reside in Edinburg.

      Rudy and Norma Rutiaga of Lyford announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer, to Robert Flores, son of Rolando and Raquenel Flores of McAllen. Jennifer is a graduate of Lyford High School and is currently pursuing her degree in Biology at UTPA in Edinburg.

St. Anthony Garage Sale
     ST. ANTHONY GARAGE SALE promises to be biggest of the year. St. Anthony Catholic Church Altar Society members are pictured with some of the items donated for their big garage sale fund raiser Saturday, Sept. 15 at the Parish Hall. A wide variety of good furniture, appliances and clothing for men, women and children will be available to shoppers. Raymondville Bearkats 6U Baseball Teams
     THE RAYMONDVILLE BEARKAT 6U BASEBALL TEAM participated in the Harlingen National Bronco Baseball League all boys baseball tournament over the weekend in Harlingen. The team won first place in the tournament championship. Both teams have players who are only 4, 5 and 6 years-old. Raymondville Lady 'Kats 6U Softball Team
     THE RAYMONDVILLE LADY 'KATS 6U SOFTBALL TEAM participated in the Harlingen National Bronco Baseball League all boys baseball tournament over the weekend in Harlingen. The Lady 'Kats made it as far as Sunday and played in the semi final games where they were defeated by the Sebastian Pony League Boys team. This resulted in a third place finish.
