 SALESIAN SISTER SPURS FANS MAKE NATIONAL NEWS - The NBA heard that the Sisters supported the San Antonio Spurs, NBA Championship basketball team and invited four of the Sisters as VIP guests for game one of the finals on June 7. The sisters were also featured on Univision and Good Morning America. Shown is Sr. Angelita Guzman, originally of Raymondville, and San Antonio Spurs Head Coach Gregg Popovich. Sr. Angelita has served 67 years and is semi-retired. She entered the convent at the age of 13. She is the aunt of Minerva Garza, wife of Tutti Garza, of Raymondville. |
