Francisco J. Salazar, Sr., 68, died on Monday, February 25, 2008.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Benita Salazar, 11 children, Rosa Maria (Martin) Mata, Frank Javier (Leticia) Salazar, Maria Ester (Vicente) Cid, Anita Isabel (Jose) Pardo, Maria Del Carmen (Samuel) Carlos, Margarita Elena (Roberto) Carlos, Mike (Angie) Salazar, Jesus (Lupita) Salazar, Veronica S. (Lupe, Jr.) Martinez, Jorge Armando (Jessica) Salazar and Angelica Belen (Noel) Fregoso. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren.

A rosary will be held on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Duddlesten Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
