Raymondville Project Graduation will have a rummage sale fundraiser and a chicken barbecue on Saturday, March 1 at First United Methodist Church. The rummage sale will last from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and barbecue plates will be on sale for $5 starting 11 a.m.

The church will also have a bake sale, plant sale and herb gardens, and jewelry sale that day.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to show its support for our young people," said Rev. Janna Sandidge Hawes, pastor of Raymondville FUMC. "We want to have a great party, a real celebration for them when they graduate, to show how proud of them we are."

"Raymondville High School has some great kids, some really outstanding students, and I think it is our responsibility to do everything we can to help them and support them."
