Just a few questions. There was once talk of a movie theater and pizza restaurant coming to Raymondville, what's happened? There was talk of certain buildings that are eyesores being demolished, this was suppose to start by summer 2008, what's happened? Last we heard about the eyesore hotel was that no one knew anything about the owners intentions, have we heard anything on that? Lastly, is there a posse forming yet to run the lameduck Juan Angel Guerra out of the county?

I don't have any definite answers for you. I believe that the cost of demolishing the old Whitewing Hotel is what is preventing it coming down. The real estate may not be worth enough to cover the cost but the building is an eyesore and also a lawsuit waiting to happen if someone gets hurt on the property. You need to attend a city meeting, every other Tuesday at 5 p.m. in city hall.
