HARLINGEN - Christine Martha DeWitt, 84, died Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Solara Hospital in Harlingen.

She is survived by one son, Michael Kent DeWitt of Raymondville, sister, Jewel Velton of San Antonio; daughter-in-law, Toney DeWitt of Alamo. She is also survived by three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Amos Thompson DeWitt.

Graveside services were held Saturday, Dec. 20, at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
