To whom it may concern:
I just came through Lyford and saw that there was another accident at the famous new stop sign. Why is it there? Obviously no one believes there should be a stop sign at that intersesction. TXDOT needs to do one of their surveys to determine how many wrecks have been there since the stop sign was erected vs. how many wrecks there were before whoever had the dumb idea to erect it. Also, they need to consider the severity of the wrecks before and after.
The stop sign is a waste of time and gas. (We need to be conserving gas, not wasting it at a useless stop sign.) There maybe a little traffic for about 10 minutes when school is over, but that is the only time. Is it worth someone getting killed before the thing is, removed?
