Two ICE Unit MTC guards indicted for transporting illegal aliens thru Sarita

      Two more MTC guards from the U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) Unit were indicted over the past few weeks for allegedly transporting illegal aliens through the Sarita Checkpoint last November, bringing the total number of MTC guards charged to six.

Raymondville man pleads guilty to 2003 gang murder of woman
3 of 10 reputed Mexican Mafia members now convicted

      A reputed Mexican Mafia member from Raymondville pleaded guilty to murder last Monday in the gang-related death of a 31-year-old Harlingen woman in 2003. Her remains were found in a densely wooded area of Willacy County in 2005.

      Raymondville city commissioners gave it's delinquent property tax collectors a thumbs up for their continued efforts to collect back taxes from property and business owners.
