In regards to your article "Ammerman has first day in court as new county and district attorney," I would like to bring an error to your attention and request that you publish a correction.

It was stated that "Leticia Longoria's bond was forfeited and a warrant issued for theft by check, after she failed to appear." Ms. Longoria did in fact appear before court was adjourned, the warrant was revoked, and her case was rescheduled for February 12th. You could confirm with the County Clerk's office at 689.2710.

We are happy to publish this correction. Apparently, Ms. Longoria came in after our reporter left the courtroom just before noon. She was not present at the time her name was first called according to our notes.
