Editor, We spent the weekend at the Willacy County Fair and what a great time we had!

We are Kansans who like spending some winter time here in the south. The warmth of the weather is matched by the warmth of the welcome we have received. We have chosen Sebastian as our home away from Kansas. This trip to the fair was our first and we want to say thank you to the 4-H family who helped us get the information we needed to arrive at the appropriate time. Also thank you to the FFA families who sat near us and answered questions about the activities we observed. These people made the event an informative adventure to both of us. We have been involved in our home area in 4-H and FFA and the welcome by these special Texans helped us compare your fair methods with ours.
