Jeff Foxworthy's voice again.
If you believe that all the efforts to remove God from our public schools is a good thing, why then you must be a Democrat.
If you are of the opinion that Nancy Pelosi actually has a brain, you are a diehard Democrat.
If you believe a condemned rapist/murderer has more rights than an unborn fetus, then you are without a doubt a looney liberal Democrat. (tough pill to swallow but true)
If you believe that the answer to all the ills of our public school systems is to allocate more public money to them, then you are a knee jerk Democrat.
If you believe that Ruth Bader Ginsburg is more qualified to create new law by judicial flat than our Constitutionally assigned legislative branch Is, then you are left-winged diehard Democrat
If you don't have a clue who Ruth Bader Ginsburg is, the odds are tremendous that you are a Democrat.
If you truly believe that Obama's tax and spend bills churning out of Congress these days will solve the financial crisis instead of worsening it, then you are a kool-aid drinking Obamatron Democrat. Obam- anos!!
If you have a frown on your face at this point in perusing ths mischievous missive, thenyouare likely an angry Democrat. (and angry Democrats are legion, but we love you anyway)
"I didn't vote for Obama, but he is remarkable. In less than three weeks in office he has collected more than $550,000 in back taxes. Just from cabinet appointments."- Gov. Mark Sanford South Carolina.
None of these "bullet points" are aimed at any of our local city or county politicos, State Reps, or Senators. It is what it is on a national level. And I posit once again that the great majority of Willacy County residents are far more closely aligned in their day to day lives and personal choices with Conservative values than with liberal ideology. Most simply aren't aware of it.
It's time for a concerted local effort to make more people aware of it.
Bonnie Brown, our Willacy County Republican Party Chairperson, will soon announce a shindig to launch a new concerted effort to activate the Republican Party In our county. We need to have candidates on the ballot for the various positions in the city and county elections. Look no further than Scooter McGee to grasp the fact that a viable Republican Party candidate can win here if the right person is committed to the task Think our County Court could use a fiscally responsible, conservative, and honest guy like Scooter these days?
Stay tuned. Allan Spence
