Cavazos-Cisneros united in marriage

Jennifer Alison Cavazos and John Carlo Cisneros, both formerly of Raymondville, were united in marriage July 11th at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Harlingen. Father Richard MacDonald officiated the double ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are George and Kathryn Young and Rafael and Ustacia Cisneros all of Raymondville.

Maid of honor was Alisa Armijo of Phoenix, Arizona. Bridesmaids included Heather Yanez, cousin of the bride of McAllen, Holly Adams and Heather Dalton of Houston, Lindsay Spinetto of Ft. Myers, Florida, Esmer Hernandez and Norma Jaramillo of Harlingen, and Belinda Garcia of La Joya. Serving as Junior bridesmaid was Jewell Ybarra, niece of the bride of Lyford.

Best man was Oscar Rivera of Raymondville . Serving as Groomsmen were Armin Martinez, Mike Bedolla and David Lopez all of Raymondville, Charlie Cavazos, brother of the bride of Austin, and Noe Cisneros, brother of the groom of Colorado. Junior groomsman was JR Lozano, cousin of the bride of Mercedes.

First padrinos were Juan and Anita Cantu of Raymondville, padrinos of the Arras and Cojines were Carlos and Diana Masso of Brownsville, padrinos of the Bible and Rosary were Nick and Nachie Munguia and padrinos of the Lasso were Julian and Patti Perales of San Antonio.

Readers for the ceremony were brides¿ aunt, Viola Lozano and grooms¿ brother, Noe Cisneros.

House Wedding Party were Melissa Gracida of Harlingen, Georgia Ryder and Jaime Osborn of Houston and Kathy Olvera of Roundrock.

A reception followed at Puesta del Sol in Harlingen. Mariachis serenaded the couple as they walked into the beautiful ranch home. Dinner and a dance followed shortly after.

The bride is a graduate of Sam Houston State University and holds a career in the field of broadcast media and public relations. The groom is a graduate of TSTC, and has been in law enforcement for 12 years, and employed with the City of San Antonio.

The couple are graduates of Raymondville High School.

Mr. and Mrs. John Carlo Cisneros now reside at their home in San Antonio. 40-1TC
