SEBASTIAN - Teodoro Garcia, 73, passed away Monday, October 19, 2009 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Tx. A rosary was recited Tuesday, 7 p.m., at Duddlesten Chapel. Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, 2 p.m. October 21, at Duddlesten Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Santa Rita Cemetery in Sebastian.

He is survived by his three sons, Rogelio (Magdalena) Garcia of Louisiana, Teodoro (Irene) Garcia, Jr. of Lyford and Feliciano Garcia of Sebastian; two daughters, Ernestina (Daniel) Von Ruden of Austin and Maria (Ramon) Hayes of Lyford; three brothers, Ernesto Garcia of Combes, Aniceto Garcia of Sebastian and Albert Garcia of Harlingen, six sisters, Beatrice Loredo of Bakersfield, CA, Maria Garcia of Harlingen, Antonia Rocha of Austin, Adeliada Garcia and Angelita Garcia both of Sebastian and Olivia Rincones of Lyford.He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria D. Garcia; daughter, Lilly Garcia and sister, Fidela Garcia.

Pallbearers will be Feliciano Garcia, Jr., Roger Garcia, Hector Garcia, Ted Garcia, III, Juan Daniel Garcia and Joseph Garcia.
