FOND DU LAC/DELAVAN, WI - Venus Elaine Rodriguez, 37, currently of Fond du Lac, WI, formerly of Delavan, died at St. Agnes Hospital on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009. Venus was born on Oct. 18, 1971, in Pontiac, MI, daughter of Jose Rodriguez and Marion Hodges.

Venus is survived by her parents, Jose and Marion Rodriguez; two daughters, Krystal Rodriguez of Delavan and Evelyn Amanda Harkness of Burlington; four sons: Jose Gonzalez in the U.S. Army in Alabama, Jesse, Carlos and Anthony Gonzalez, all of Williams Bay; and two sisters, Karen Blye of Janesville and Veronica Rodriguez of Raymondville.

She was preceded in death by grandmother, Adela Ortiz Rodriguez of Raymondville. Venus attended Raymondville public schools.

Memorial services were held at Betzer Funeral Home, Delavan, WI. A local church service will be announced at a later date with her ashes being buried with her grandmother at the Raymondville Cemetery.
