Roberto S. De La Paz, Sr., 63, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2009 at his home in Raymondville, TX. A rosary was recited Monday, 7 p.m., at Duddlesten Chapel. Funeral mass was celebrated Tuesday, December 15, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment followed at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Consuelo De La Paz of Raymondville; three sons, Roberto, Jr., Gilberto and Alberto De La Paz all of Raymondville; four daughters, Letty Martinez and Lorena Mata both of Raymondville, Soyla Rodriguez of San Perlita and Virginia Lomas of Raymondville; three brothers, Luis, Jr. and Rene De La Paz both of Raymondville and Richard De La Paz of Hereford; four sisters, Sylvia Montez of Baytown, Irma Anzaldua and Norma Handy both of Corpus Christi and Rebecca Colchado of Raymondville. He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren.
