After trial Ammerman stated, “I am very pleased with the verdict and I believe the jury sent a loud and clear message about a standard of conduct that is unacceptable in Willacy County.”

The Willacy County and District Attorney’s Office will aggressively prosecute Driving While Intoxicated and would like to thank Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Valente Rosas and Trooper Eugenio Garcia for their participation on this case. The case was prosecuted by District Attorney Bernard W. Ammerman and First Assistant District Attorney Scott Greenbaum.
