Ann Knox, 78, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Golden Palms Retirement Center. She was born at Brownsville, TX to Henry and Dona Wright. Ann was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Raymondville and a Eastern Star. She is survived by two daughters, Carol (David) Anderson of Duncanville, TX and Janice (Gus) Puente of Norias Ranch. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; Michael (Carmen) Goss of Harlingen, Tommie (Margie) Puente of Racford, North Carolina, Steve (Janie) Goss of Kyle, Brian (Cindy) Puente of Harlingen, Timmy (Cleo) Goss of Weslaco, Christopher (Shelley) Anderson of Midlothian, TX, Tammy (Walter) Olsen of Farmersbranch, TX and Scott (Emily) Anderson of Duncanville, one sister in Law Oralee Tiffin, an aunt, Alice (Jim) Shafer and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen E. Knox, a daughter, Beverly Goss and two brothers; Herman and Eddie Wright. Graveside services were held at the Raymondville Memorial Cemetery.
