SAN PERLITA - Jesus Antonio Rivera, 21, passed away December 24, 2009 just south of Norias, TX.

He was born on January 31, 1988 in Tlahualilo, Durango, Mexico to Ricardo Rivera and Maria Arcadia Hernandez Rivera.

Jesus is survived by his parents, two brothers: Julio (Maria Cruz) Rivera Hernandez and Julian Richard Rivera all of San Perlita, TX. His sister: Claudia Yvette (Alberto) Hernandez, maternal grandparents Jesus and Enedina Hernandez, paternal grandparents, Victor and Maria Concepcion Rivera, several aunts and uncles and numerous cousins, all of Mexico, also survive Mr. Rivera.

A private family viewing was held on Monday, December 28, 2009 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hernandez Funeral Home Chapel in Raymondville, TX. The private viewing was immediately followed by a 7 p.m. rosary also held at the funeral chapel. Visitation resumed Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in San Perlita from 10 a.m. until the commencement of a 4 p.m. funeral mass officiated by Father Mac. Interment followed at Raymondville Memorial Park.
