LYFORD - Juan Losoya Hernandez, Jr., 61, passed away Monday, December 28, 2009 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. Viewing at Prince of Peace in Lyford from 12-2. Funeral service will be held Friday, 2 p.m., January 1, 2010 at Prince of Peace Church in Lyford.

He is survived by his wife, Joaquina Hernandez of Lyford; two sons, Juan Roberto (Jessica) Hernandez of Carrollton, TX and Christopher (Amanda) Hernandez of Jackson, N.C.; two daughters, Dalia (Danny) De Luna of Harlingen and Belinda Marie Hernandez of Harlingen; one brother, Joe Hernandez of Raymondville; three sisters, Felipa Salazar, Marcela Espinoza and Irene Hernandez all of Raymondville. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren which he loved so much, Eric, Nicolos, Lani Gonzalez, Gabriel de Luna, Donovan Hernandez.

He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Hernandez, Sr. and mother, Consuelo Hernandez and brother, Mateo Hernandez.

He treasured his friendships that he developed in his lifetime and kept them in his heart.
