Daniel Llanes, 60, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at his home in Raymondville, TX. A rosary was held Thursday, 7 p.m., January 14, at Duddlesten Chapel. Funeral services were held Friday, 10 a.m., January 15, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Interment was held at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery with Fr. Richard MacDonald officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Llanes of Raymondville; one son, Javier Llanes of San Antonio; one daughter, Jennifer Llanes of Raymondville; father, Adan Llanes of Raymondville; four brothers, Ricky Llanes of San Benito, Ernesto Llanes of Lasara, Roy Llanes of Dallas and Ray Llanes of Raymondville; three sisters, Gloria De Luna, Linda Alvarado and Dolores Hinojosa all of Raymondville; one granddaughter, Rian Amber Llanes of San Antonio.

Military service was held by the Raymondville American Legion Post #390 and VFW #6719.

Pallbearers were Marlo Moya, Eddie Blanco, Roy Martinez, Rosemary Orozco, Juan A. Salinas, David Quiroga.
