Olga Rodriguez, 52, passed away in the early morning hours on Monday, January 25, 2010 at her residence in Raymondville, Texas.

Olga was born on July 28, 1957 in Anthony, New Mexico to Rafael Contreras and Sostena Hernandez Contreras.

She is preceded in death by her husband George Rodriguez (1998), her parents and her sister Nelly. Survivors include four daughters: Tina Marie Rodriguez of Raymondville, TX, Felicia (Herschel) Laird of Edna, TX, Anna Lisa Rodriguez, Michelle (Javier) Rodriguez both of Raymondville, TX; four sons: George Rodriguez Jr., David Rodriguez, both of Raymondville, TX., Christian Melchor Rodriguez of Houston, TX and Lucky Chapa of Raymondville, TX. Ten siblings also survive Olga, including seven sisters: Jenny, Bertha, Lupe, Rosa, Ysela, Eva, and Irene, three brothers: Sisto, Rafael, and David. 20 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, several aunts and uncles and many cousins are too counted as survivors of Olga.

Visitation was held at the Hernandez Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday, January 26, 2010 and Wednesday, January, 27, 2010 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. both evenings. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the Hernandez Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Raymondville Memorial Park.
