BONHAM, Texas (AP) The Texas Department of Public Safety says an 80-year-old man out for a walk was struck and killed by a school bus.

The accident happened Monday morning near Bonham, 64 miles northeast of Dallas.

Officials say Andrew Dosser was struck by a Bonham Independent School District bus around 7 a.m. No students were on board.

No charges are expected to be filed. Officials say it was not yet daylight, and Dosser was wearing dark clothes.

TV station KXII reports that Bonham Independent School District Superintendent Sonny Cruse said the school bus driver and the bus monitor on board will not face any disciplinary action. Neither were injured.
