A rent home owned by Nathan Solis at 544 E. Norman was destroyed by fire Sunday at 11:57 p.m. A smaller building in the back yard also burned in two seperate fires at the same time.

Police investigator David Robles said the home had only been vacant two days when the fire happened.

“They went in through the door and some type of accelerant was used in the dining room where the fire started. We have a couple of persons of interest that we want to talk with,” he added.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of the person or persons responsible for this crime.
