Farmer’s Market
Why wait until spring makes its official “march” to begin enjoying the fresh air and sunshine? Experience the ambience of days gone by and take a stroll down memory lane.
Get your daily requirement of Vitamin D straight from the sun as you stop and admire the farm-fresh vegetables and fruits plus homemade goodies offered to you at very good prices. The first Saturday of every month can become a tradition for those of us who remember the stress-free days of the 20th century, where “hand crafted” was encouraged and treasured.
Reserve a space for $5 and don’t forget to bring your own table. The nostalgia begins this Saturday at 8 a.m. and runs until noon at Bethel United Methodist Church, 1103 W. Hidalgo Ave., Raymondville where the parking lot lends itself to plenty of room. In conjunction with this event, the church is offering enchilada lunches for a donation of $6.
A new location every month is what we’re looking for, so check with us by calling the church office at 689-3376. We’ll be more than happy to return your call with the latest details of upcoming venues.
This event is being brought to you by the Women of Excellence Committee, a ministry of Bethel United Methodist Church.
