Maria Concepcion Alvarado, 68, of Raymondville, entered into rest Wednesday, February 24, 2010 in Harlingen Medical Center.

She was born on December 9, 1941 in San Luis, Mexico, daughter of the late Lorenzo Moncivias and Juana Alvarado.

Surviving are her husband, Matias Alvarado; sons Agapito Alvarado, Jose D. Alvarado, Osvaldo Alvarado and Emilio Alvarado; daughters, Maria Lopez, Estela Rivas, Maria S. Escobar, Norma Alvarado, and 20 grandchildren.

Visitation was held at the Duddlesten Funeral Home, Raymondville, TX. Services were held at Our Lady of Guadalupe on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 10 a.m. with interment in the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
