Sebastian Women’s Club plans fundraiser

La Mano Extendida Sebastian Women’s club reports that all the running candidates attended our first very successful “meet and greet” your candidate(s) at the Sebastian Water Plant community room. All the candidates (12 out of 13) were given the opportunity to speak for four minutes and then following with the community asking questions. After the event the candidates were able to “meet and greet” the public. All the candidates express great reviews on the event, with large community support. This event was greatly assisted by Amy from Crime Stoppers and Tommie from the Sebastian Water Plant.

The Sebastian Women’s Club next project will be our “Fourth Annual Chicken Plate Fundraiser” to raise funds for a scholarship to a qualifying graduating senior. Plates will be $5, with drinks and desserts sold also- across the Sebastian Post Office on Saturday, April 17 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Delivery with-in the Lyford and Sebastian area.
