There was a boxer who was called “the Caterpillar,” - he stayed in the ring only by crawling.

One night a sharp blow floored him. The referee began his count. But he didn’t stop at ten. He knew the fighter was bluffing. When he came to twenty, the boxer said, “You’re more than fair, Mr. Referee, but I’m through for the night.”

Being floored isn't fatal. Failure to get up is.
