team placed 1st in the Girls Regional Powerlifting Championships. The meet was held in Carrizo Springs on March 6th. Kacee Pedraza placed 1st in the 198 division with a total of 990 pounds. She also broke the Regional record with a squat of 465 pounds. Ana Perez placed 3rd with a total of 770 pounds in the 132 division. She also had an impressive squat of 335 pounds. Both girls will be traveling to Corpus Christie this Saturday to compete in the Girls State Powerlifting Championships. Currently, Kacee is ranked 1 st in the state in the 3-A division, while Ana is ranked 2nd in the state in the 3-A division.
