LYFORD - Margarita G. Reyna, 66, entered into eternal rest on March 20, 2010. She was born on May 1, 1943 in San Benito, TX, to Elino Gonzales and Virginia Gaona Gonzales.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, two sisters, Leonor Gonzales and Fela Garcia and a brother, Roberto Padron.

She is survived by her husband, Domingo Muniz Reyna of Lyford, TX. Also surviving Margarita are seven children, four sons, Domingo Muniz Reyna, Jr. (Elma), Felix Reyna (Carol), Ramsey Reyna (Melissa), Randy Reyna (Cynthia) and three daughters, Liza Mireles (Eluterio), Amelia Reyna (Angel) and Virginia Mendoza (Joseph). Three brothers, Lino Gonzales, Bernardo Gonzales, Noe Troncoso and a sister, Olivia Soto also survive Margarita. Margarita is also survived by 22 loving grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Margarita was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother as well as a friend with a beautiful spirit. During her life she touched many people with her cheerful personality and loving demeanor. Her desire to be a good role model for us will continue to live in our hearts and her endearing qualities will remain in each and every one of us. She will be missed.

Viewing was held Monday, March 22, 2010 at the Hernandez Funeral Home Chapel in Raymondville from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Viewing continued Tuesday, March 23, 2010 from 8 a.m. until depature for a 10 a.m. funeral mass which was celebrated at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Lyford. Interment followed at Guadalupe Cemetery in Lyford, TX.
