Jesus Solorio, 73, of Raymondville entered into rest Monday, March 29, 2010 at Valley Baptist Medical Center.

He was born on July 23, 1936, son of the late Alamar C. and Octaviano Solorio.

He is survived by 3 sisters, Aurora (Zacarias) Gonzales, Maria Viola Solorio, Gloria (Cesar) Rodriguez, and one brother, Oscar Solorio, all of Raymondville and various nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Rodrigo Solorio and one sister, Odulia Lopez.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 4, at Duddlesten Funeral Home, Raymondville. Funeral services will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Monday, April 5, at 10 a m. Interment will follow in the Raymondville Memorial Cemetery, Raymondville.

Pallbearers will be Michael Gonzales, Ruben Rodriguez, Cesar Daniel Chavez, Zacarias Gonzales, Rudy Barrios, Jr. and Oscar Solorio. Our beloved Cowboy fan will be missed forever.

Duddlesten Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
