SEBASTIAN - Maria P. Gonzales, 77, of Sebastian, entered into rest Sunday, March 28, 2010 at her residence. She was born on December 6, 1932 in Raymondville, daughter of the late Pedro Jesus Pena and Guadalupe Gonzales. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Gonzales and one son, Jaime Gonzales.

She is survived by three sons, Armando Gonzales, Roberto (Margaret) Gonzales, Rolando (Rosie) Gonzales; and four daughters, Alvesa (Armando) Salceda, Diana (Audon) Leal, Jessica Gonzales, all of Sebastian and Norma (Javier) Romero of San Antonio, daughterin law, Isabel Gonzales of San Antonio and one sister, Esmeralda Elizondo of Harlingen; 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Rosary was recited on Tuesday, March 30, at 7 p m. at Duddlesten Funeral Home, Raymondville, TX. Funeral mass will be celebrated at San Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Sebastian on Wednesday, March 31 at 2 p.m. with interment in the Sebastian Guadalupe Cemetery.
