TEEN DRIVER PLEADS GUILTY TO DELINQUENT CONDUCT A 14-year-old unlicensed driver was behind the wheel of this Dodge Ram 2500 pickup on August 18, 2009 when she ran a stop sign at FM1834 near the intersection of FM490. She plead guilty to delinquent conduct before State District Judge Migdalia Lopez on Monday. Two teens in the red Ford Mustang were both seriously injured. The young man suffered a broken arm and his sister was critically injured when she was pinned behind the steering wheel. The juvenile defendant is an A&B student on the Myra Green Middle School honor roll. She was sentenced to serve one year in custody, probated for two years. She must serve 250 hours of community service and write a letter of apology to the victims, monthly, for the length of her probation. She must observe a daily 6 p.m. curfew, take anger management classes, continue to attend school and wear an ankle monitor to keep track of her whereabouts while she is on probation.
