Pot holes, not speeding caused rollover, woman says
I am writing in reference to the wreck my husband, Martin Trevino, had on March 30, 2010 and the speeding ticket they gave him and accused him of unsafe speed that caused his wreck. How can they accuse him of speeding when no one was around when he had his wreck? In addition, how could he be speeding when the paved road in this area is covered with large potholes that are only fixed with loose gravel? The loose gravel only adds to the danger. I had previously complained several times to County Judge Guerra and was told that it would be brought up at the next meeting; however, nothing has been done. I understand that these road are not the only ones that need to be fixed, but what does it take to get any road fixed? Luckily, my husband was not badly hurt, but who knows when someone will be badly hurt. All we would like is for our streets to get fixed and we would all appreciate this since it would be good for the entire county. Lastly, there are no street lights in our neighborhood, which also adds to the danger.
Sincerely, Maria Trevino
(Accident happened on East Conley Road, east of Expressway 77)
