RAYMONDVILLE - Antonio Ortiz, 85, of Raymondville, entered into rest Sunday, April 4, 2010 in Valley Baptist Center.

He was born on May 10, 1924 in San Benito, TX, son of the late Encarnacion and Jesusita (Sanchez) Ortiz.

He is survived by his wife, Eulalia Ortiz and two daughters, Gloria Arredondo of Austin, and Dalia Blanco of San Antonio, one sister, Hilaria Rodriguez of Raymondville, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A rosary was recited on Monday, April 5, at 7 p.m. at Duddlesten Funeral Home, Raymondville. Funeral mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe, Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 10 a m. with interment at the Raymondville Memorial Cemetery, Raymondville.
