FLORENCE BROWNFIELD
was honored on her 90th birthday recently with a birthday party dinner at Boot Company in Raymondville. Those present were Lew and Pat Brownfietd; Jan and Charlie Berny, Carolyn and Ted Mahler; Deanna Scheffe; Clint and Kim Berny and sons Chase and Trent; Ken Berny; Joanna and Brady Marsh; Travis Mahier; Mira and Robert Jubela; Robin Kernodle and daughters Clara and Jane; King Swayze; Lone Swayze; Judy Swayze; Lisa and Dale Roberts; Katie Guymon and Chris Broad; Dottie and Mike Fabian; James Fabian; Sue Damstrom; and Cissie Watson.
After singing “Happy Birthday,” Mira honored her greataunt with a special poem that she wrote especially for Florence, and Jan presented her mother with a framed display of black-and-white photos of Florence's early life. Many cameras were clicking to record memories of the happy occasion and reminders of a very special day.
After dinner and two delicious birthday cakes were served, the guests enjoyed visiting and meeting Florence’s family.
Mrs. Brownfield is a longtime resident of Raymondville, a former bookkeeper and retired Math teacher.
