JUAN TOVAR

RAYMONDVILLE - Juan Tovar, 75, of Raymondville, entered into rest Monday, April 19, 2010 at Valley Baptist Medical Center.

He was born on January 15, 1935 in Raymondville, to the late Miguel and Jovita (Torres) Tovar.

He is survived by his wife, Eustolia Tovar of Raymondville; three sons, Mario (Sylvia) Tovar of Lyford, Ernesto (Robyn) Tovar and Nicolas Tovar, both of Raymondville; two daughters, Rose (Andy) Gonzales of Raymondville, and Mary (Tom) Cantu of Harlingen; one brother, Mike Tovar, Jr. of Elsa; three sisters, Domitila Villarreal, Eluteria Montez, and Lupita Tovar, all of Raymondville; four grandchildren, Joanne and Andrew Gonzales, Julie Fonseca and Rocco Cantu, two great-grandchildren, Kylie Fonseca and Jordan Gunthorpe.

Pallbearers will be David Villarreal, Mike Tovar, Jr., Andy Gonzales, Tom Cantu, Jr., Andrew Gonzales and Rocco Cantu.

A special thanks to Dr. Ricardo Ochoa for all the loving care given to our beloved father throughout the years.

A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, April 21, at 7 p m. at the Duddlesten Funeral Home, Raymondville. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 10 a m. followed by interment at the Raymondville Memorial Cemetery, Raymondville.
