Reader misses visits to Mexico Lindo y Querido
How I miss admiring nature in Chipinque, climbing the pyramids in Teotihuacan, contemplating the castle of the mysterious Englishman who lived in Xilitla, conversing with some of the Americans, who live in San Miguel de Allende, drinking champurrado and eating tamales in San Jose del Tapanco, eating seafood in Tampico, getting scared in the wax museum in Mexico City, learning at the Museum of Anthropology, listening to the marriachis in la plaza Garibaldi in Guadalajara, meditating in la plaza in San Ciro de Acosta, praying in the churces in San Luis Potosi SLP, riding my cousins’ horses in Rio Verde, shopping in Nuevo Progreso, singing in “las callejoneadas” in Guanajuato, Gto., strolling in Chapultepec Park, swimming in Acapulco, visiting Fray Junipero’s missions in la Sierra Gorda de Queretaro (but most of all) visiting all my friends and relatives.
Respectfully,
Maricela G. Suarez
P.S. Please, pray for peace in the world!
