Jesus lives, that’s why you go to church, He lives. Isn’t that amazing? Why wouldn’t anyone want to come praise this awesome King of Kings? Church is a wonderful and amazing place. You can have so much fun and completely change your life by going to church. God is amazing and He can do anything. Never doubt God.

At church, you can meet wonderful people. You may even find yourself looking up at the screen where the song lyrics are and start singing along. I can’t help but do that; it’s fun. Yes, I know it may be your first time at the church and you are probably nervous and shy. You should not be nervous because at church God doesn’t want you to think about what others think of you. He just wants you to sing as loud as you can, just praise the Lord loud and clear. On your first day, you may not worship as much as you should, it’s ok.

I’m an 11-year-old girl who has been going to church my whole life and I still do not praise my Lord as much as I should or could. I know that some of you are thinking, “I can’t go to church, I’m a bad kid.” God still wants you to go to church, His house. He wants you to go because you’re His creation and He loves His children. It does not matter what you have done, He will always love you. You might have robbed a bank, and all you have to do is ask for God’s forgiveness and you can be clean, born again.

Another reason people don’t go to church is because they say they don’t know anybody there. That is not a good reason because when you go to church you can sit by anyone. Don’t worry because at church you don’t have to worry about people giving you mean looks or rejecting you, so cool! Once you start going to church your life starts changing. You hang with better people. You start feeling safer. For example, I used to get nightmares but after I started going to church - no more nightmares...amazing, right?

Now I want to tell you about this wonderful thing called praying. You can pray during church. You will probably soon be praying everywhere because it is so cool! Pray whenever you want to. Praying is our way to speak to Jesus. At church, you can ask your pastor to pray with you. You can tell your pastor anything going on in your life and he will happy to pray for you. Your pastor will be open for you to talk to them about anything. But the number one person you can always count on is our Lord Jesus Christ. You can pray to him and he will answer your prayers. So pray, pray about anything, anyone. Pray for whatever you need. There have been so many times I have prayed for a sick loved one, or a family in need and God has answered my prayers. God is amazing!

Ok, you want to know how I know what to talk about? I know because I go to church but another reason is because of this other thing called the bible. The bible is God’s book, the Holy Word. the bible is like Jesus’ diary. It has stories of when He was born to when He went to heaven. I have not read the whole bible, yet, but I have heard and read many versus.

God is amazing. He is a great friend. He is mighty, wonderful and a miracle worker. He can heal the blind, make a paralyzed person walk. He can do anything! He can answer prayers and he does! Amen. God won’t let you down. Do you want to make friends? You can pray you will have friends! Guess what, if you have ever needed someone to talk to God is there for you always.

Go to church and learn more about God. Soon you will be shining your light for others to see. See, by going to church I have been able to tell you all of this amazing stuff. After you go to church you will experience a new life and you will be able to help others and tell others just like this.
