OSCAR AGUIRRE

FORTH WORTH - Oscar Aguirre, 62, a very loving brother, husband and friend, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010. Funeral was held at 10 a m. Monday, May 10, 2010, in Greenwood Chapel. Interment followed at Greenwood Memorial Park. Rosary was recited at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2010 in Greenwood Chapel.

Oscar was born November 28, 1947, in Raymondville to Alejos and Cecilia Aguirre. He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He started his career as a tax appraiser in Raymondville, El Paso, Texas and Wyoming. He was an RPA residential territorial appraiser with the Dallas Central Appraisal District for 20 years.

He was a great person and will be sorely missed by everyone who loved him.

Oscar was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Pedro and Francisco Aguirre; sister, Genoveva Saldivar; and brother-in-law, Rolando Ramirez, Sr.

Survivors include his wife, Guadalupe; brothers, Ramon Aguirre and wife, Piedad, of Sherman and Leonardo Aguirre and Annie of Forth Worth; sisters, Santos Galvan and husband, Lalo, of Raymondville and Petra A. Ramirez of Ft. Worth; and numerous nieces, nephews, coworkers and friends.

Pallbearers were his nephews, Ramon Aguirre, Jr., Marcos Aguirre, Rene Aguirre, Carlos Aguirre, Leonardo Aguirre, Jr., Robert Aguirre, Rolando Ramirez, and Frank Ramirez.

Honorary pallbearers were his nephews, Homer Ramirez, Alex Aguirre, Omar Ramirez and Abel Saenz.
