He was born on November 4, 1967 in Hearne, TX, son of Ausencio and Victoria Perez, Sr. of Raymondville.

Surviving are his wife, Erika Perez of Weslaco; his parents, Ausencio Perez, Jr. and Victoria Perez of Raymondville; 1 son, Isaiah Perez of Harlingen; 5 sisters, Luciana (Fidel) Sanchez of Raymondville, Rosa (Ruben) Garcia of San Perlita, Hermelinda (Antonio) Gonzales of Harlingen, Graciela (Juan) Pena of Lyford, Raquel (Thomas) Najera of Raymondville; and 1 brother Alejandro (Jeanette) Perez of El Paso.

Rosary was recited at the Duddlesten Funeral Home, Raymondville on Sunday, May 16, at 7 p.m. Funeral mass was celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Raymondville, interment followed at the Raymondville Memorial Cemetery.
