WILLACY COUNTY ART LEAGUE 2010-2011 FIRST PLACE SCHOLARSHIP WINNER is Steven Balboa, son of Dagoberto Balboa and grandson of Dagoberto and Ascencion Balboa of Lyford. Steven has been accepted to Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia and will enter in the fall. He is a graduating senior at Lyford High School, has a 4.0 GPA and received first place and senior Grand Champion at the Willacy County Fair Annual Fine Arts and Craft Show his sophomore year.

This $1,000.00 scholarship is funded through W.C.A.L. calendar sales and memorial donations to the League.
