Police Car Totaled
CITY POLICE CAR TOTALED IN JUNE 1 ACCIDENT - A new Raymondville police patrol car was wrecked on Tuesday, June 1 at noon when it crashed into a Chevrolet pickup on East Hidalgo Ave. Police Chief Uvaldo “Valdo” Zamora told city commissioners last night that the vehicle was totaled and insurance estimates of $23,000 will mean that the vehicle is damaged beyond repair. Zamora said that the responsibility for the accident has not been determined and that he is waiting for a final report on the investigation.
