Mr. Florentino Jr. and Mrs. Rosa Lopez of Lyford, TX are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Naomi Marie Lopez, to Joel Garcia, son of Mr. Santos and Mrs. Guadalupe Garcia of Lyford, TX.

The bride elect is a 2008 graduate of Lyford High School and will be graduating in May 2011 from the University of Texas Pan American at Edinburg with a Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitative Services. She then plans to pursue her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.

The prospective groom is a 2005 graduate of Lyford High School and in 2009 received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Texas Pan American at Edinburg. He is currently employed with the Internal Revenue Services in McAllen, TX.

The wedding will take place on August 14, 2010, 3 p.m., at the Sebastian Apostolic Life Tabernacle. A reception will follow at La Sierra Event Center. 30-1TP
