Seeds From The Sower
A man, depressed and discouraged, was sitting on a corner, glaring misty-eyed at a torn piece of paper.
Suddenly a girl stopped, slipped two dollars into his hand, and said cheerfully, “Chin up!”
The next day, as she passed the corner, the man cried, “Stop, lady, stop!” Running to her, he said, “Here’s ten dollars. Chin Up won the race.”
Too many go around with their chins on their chests. They look within, and they never win. They look about, and they always doubt.
So the Bible says, “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus.”
Those who look up into the face of the Master won't break down in the face of disaster.
