will be teaching at IDEA San Benito-Go Dragons! For 2 years while he completes his commitment for the TEACH FOR AMER-ICA program. Through TEA-CH FOR AMERICA he is considered an AMGEN Fellow for being one of the TOP 50 Math, Science, and Engineering 2010 TFA Corps members out of the 4500 Corps Members that were selected to join TFA this year from all over the USA. TEACH FOR AMERICA is a program designed to ensure that one day all children in this nation will receive a quality education. In 2009, TEA had over 46,000 people apply and accepted only 4500 to become the 2010 TEA Corps. Individuals accepted into Teach for America, dedicate 2 years of their life to teaching in a low income school district, before continuing their education into law, medical, graduate school, or remain in the educational field. He will be teaching 9th grade Biology and 10th grade Chemistry at IDEA College Preparatory in San Benito.
