Juan Jose Cantu, 52, of Austin, entered into rest Monday, August 23, 2010.

He was born July 13, 1958 in Raymondville, Tx, son of the late Jose and Maria (Vasquez) Cantu.

He is survived by three sons, Joshua Cantu of Austin, Jose Angel Cantu and Ulysses Cantu, both of Raymondville; two daughters, Andrea Jo Cantu of Austin and Dolores Cantu of Raymondville; three brothers, Jaime Cantu, Victor Cantu and Carlos Cantu, two sisters, Viola Gonzalez and Violanda Gonzalez, all of California; seven grandchildren.

A rosary was recited on Sunday, August 29, at Duddlesten Funeral Home, Raymondville. Funeral mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 10 a.m. with interment in the Los Poteros Cemetery, Santa Monica, TX.
