Years ago a sailing ship was blown off course. They ran out of fresh water, and the passengers were dying of thirst.

In their darkest hour a ship approached them. Frantically they signaled, "We need drinking water."

Back came the answer, "Lower your buckets. You're in fresh water!"

What was true of the water is true of the Word. Thirsty transgressors, dying in their despair, are within reach of the water of life.

The Bible says, "The Word is near you... the Word of faith."

By faith in the Lord, by taking the water of the Word, you can be saved and satisfied.
