Storm Damage
MOTEL DAMAGED - Tropical storm Hermine damaged the roof of The Best Rest Inn in Raymondville early Tuesday morning.
MORE TREE DAMAGE - City cleanup crews were cleaning up at 264 Rodriguez Street after a tree fell due to the strong winds from the storm.
CITY MAINTENANCE BARN - The roof of Raymondville’s maintenance barn on 5th Street was ripped apart by the storm. One city employee said that some equipment was inside the barn. Damage estimates were not available at press time.
STORM UPROOTS TREE - Pittman Elementary’s fence received damage from a tree that Hermine knocks down. School maintenance was cleaning up the damage Tuesday morning.
GIANT TREE SPLITS IN HALF - Storm caused this tree on the 100 block of Wood Ave. to split apart.
