SEBASTIAN - Guillermo “Willie” Torres, Sr., 69, of Sebastian entered into rest on Monday, September 6, 2010 at his home.

He was born on February 10, 1941 in Mexico, son of Firmine and Maria Cecelia (Pena) Torres.

He is survived by his wife, Evangelina Rosales Torres of Sebastian, two sons, Guillermo Torres, Jr. and Noe Torres of Sebastian; three daughters, Rosalinda Torres of Houston, Sylvia Torres of Harlingen, and Sandra Torres of Sebastian, one brother, Enrique Torres and one sister, Ramona Martinez of Sebastian; 14 grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.

Rosary was recited Thursday, September 9, at 7 p.m. at Duddlesten Funeral Home, Raymondville. Funeral mass was celebrated at San Martin of Tours at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 10, 2010 with interment following in the Sebastian Guadalupe Cemetery.
